Under the supervision of the Controller, the incumbent will primarily be responsible for the following tasks:

What you will do


• Manage the accounting team’s inbox
• Follow up on requests for additions and changes to banking information
• Process payments in collaboration with the accounting team
• Assist users and developers with the use and maintenance of the CMIC accounting software
• Follow up on various related banking requests in collaboration with the treasury team
• Maintain daily bank reconciliation
• Prepare and record journal entries in the accounting software at period-end
• Perform various related tasks to support the accounting team


This role could be for you if you have

• A college diploma in accounting and management or a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in general accounting
• Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
• Knowledge of CMIC (an asset)
• Interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and attention to detail

• Ability to work with tight deadlines and prioritize important tasks
