As a Document Management Technician within the Building team at Pomerleau, you will play a key role by significantly contributing to the management of our projects. Working on large-scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will ensure the implementation of electronic document management (EDM) and the information lifecycle until their archiving.
What you will do

• Follow the plans and procedures established for the project;
• Assist in updating and developing general management procedures related to documentation;
• Ensure compliance and manage documents developed or received by the various teams within the project;
• Assist in training or accompanying new users regarding EDM;
• Under the direction of the Document Management Manager – Major Projects, distribute documents via EDM both internally and to the Client and stakeholders;
• Act as a resource person for users of the document management system;
• Daily detect errors and omissions for analysis and compliance purposes;

This role could be for you if you have

• A degree in archival studies, electronic document management, or a related field;
• Experience in project document management is an asset;
• Good knowledge of common software (Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Aconex);
• Analytical skills, ability to manage multiple files simultaneously, good adaptability, organizational skills, and good judgment;
• Interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
