As a driller with Pomerleau's civil engineering & infrastructure team, you will work closely with all workers to ensure coordination of the work. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you'll have the opportunity to support the skilled team and help ensure that work is carried out to specifications.

What you will do :
•Prepare and carry out drilling operations, as well as set up, dismantle and transport drilling materials and equipment;
•Establish and determine areas to be blasted according to established plans;
•Handle equipment in compliance with safety regulations;
•Ensure proper operation of pumps;
•Inspect blasting sites before and after operations to assess conditions and results;
•Work as part of a team, maintaining a pleasant and trusting work environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and other shifts on site;
•Perform regular maintenance on blasting and drilling equipment;
•Perform all other related tasks.

This role is made for you if you have:
•A valid CCQ occupation card
•ASP Construction & WHMIS 201 card
•A valid Class 5 driver's license
•General explosives permit
•DEP in blasting or drilling
