As a laborer – concrete demolition within the Civil Engineering & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau, you will work closely with all workers to ensure the smooth progress of the work. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from 1.5 million dollars to over a billion dollars - you will have the opportunity to assist qualified personnel and help complete the work according to specifications.

What you will do

·Demolish concrete structures using electric and pneumatic tools (jackhammers, saws).
·Operate heavy equipment to demolish buildings and other structures.
·Remove and sort debris from demolition sites.
·Install safety measures on demolition sites.
·Maintain consistent quality throughout the project.
·Ensure compliance with environmental regulations on the construction site.
·Follow safety protocols to protect yourself, your colleagues, and the public.
·Collaborate with the team to meet the specific needs of each site.

This role is made for you if you have

·A valid CCQ occupation card
·An ASP Construction & WHMIS 2015 card
·Experience in concrete demolition
·Good physical condition and ability to work in difficult conditions (heat, cold, dust)
