As an Electrician working in the Logistics team at Pomerleau, you will be primarily involved in the construction, modification, repair and maintenance of electrical installations. These installations can be used to supply power, lighting, heating and motive power for equipment used on our construction sites, such as trailers, electrical distribution systems, converted containers, various equipment such as electric pumps and generators for large-scale building and infrastructure construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with project management teams on several construction sites, as well as with members of the logistics team.
What you will do :

• Read and interpret schematics, circuit diagrams and Quebec Construction Code specifications.
• Install supports and brackets on which electrical equipment will be mounted, install conduits and run cables through them.
•Establish circuits by joining and connecting cables to devices and components.
• Check circuits for compatibility and safety, identify system faults and replace defective components.
• Connect electrical power to heating and air-conditioning equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Track inventories of electrical parts and consumables.
•Coordinate work with various trades (mechanics, carpenters, plumbers, etc.).

This role could be for you if you have :

• DEP in electricity.
• 5 years' experience in electricity.
• Ability to work with different types of current.
