Promote technology awareness, adoption, and effective use while continuously improving our business technologies and processes. Effectively support the day‐to‐day needs of our building’s preconstruction group employees as well as the ongoing needs of division and company leaders to effectively manage and improve operations.
What you will do :
• Develop and maintain tools to enable preconstruction teams to excel in their role.
• Maintain best practices, standards throughout the implementation across all the offices.
• Facilitate the development and implementation of solutions to business challenges.
• Promote awareness around and adoption of critical tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Keep current on applicable technology and industry trends – attend conferences and events.
• Participating in Business Technology Projects as a subject matter expert, tester, and/or trainer.
• Participate in technology testing and experiments · Updating databases, developing templates, PowerBI etc.
• Work with division leaders and project teams on problems and challenges and understand what innovations are being implemented locally.
• Build relationships with company leaders (Ex. Preconstruction Managers and Directors, Regional vice-presidents, preconstruction vice president, Senior preconstruction estimators, change leaders, etc.).
• Occasional Recurring monthly travel required (local and interprovincial).

This role could be for you if you have :
• Minimum 2 years of preconstruction experience.
• Ideally, experience with construction and estimating technologies—such as Sage, E-takeoff Bridge, OnScreen Takeoff, CostX, and Building Connected—is considered an asset.
• Good organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate work efforts.
• Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and other computer application.
• Travel to divisions and jobsites as necessary (job may require frequent travel).
