As a temporary 6-month yard laborer within Pomerleau's construction logistics team, you will work with a logistics team at the Saint-Georges yard to support large-scale building and infrastructure construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will have the opportunity to work outdoors with several team members on a variety of tasks to support construction sites.
• Handle, move, load, and unload products, materials, tools, equipment, and machinery by hand or using various handling devices.
• Count, weigh, sort, check, pack, and unpack various products and materials.
• Open boxes, fill orders, and participate in inventory taking.
• Store items in an orderly manner so that they are easily accessible;
• Shovel snow from the yard, walkways, stairs, etc. during the winter;
• Maintain and repair certain tools and equipment;
• Depending on operational needs, the warehouse worker will be required to perform tasks inside the warehouse, such as processing and packing orders for shipment to construction sites or sorting returns from construction sites.


This role could be for you if you have

• Hold a DES and/or DEP in a related field;
• Have 1 to 3 years of experience as a warehouse worker;
• Be physically fit;
• Have good prioritization skills;
• Have teamwork skills;
• Be able to operate a forklift and a lift platform;
• Have WHMIS training (an asset);
• Hold a welder's license (an asset).
