As part of a major construction project (over $500M), we are seeking a Project Communications Advisor to lead the internal and external communications strategy in collaboration with the project’s stakeholders (client, EPC partners, communities, internal teams, Indigenous groups). The advisor writes articles, video scripts, and notices to residents, and manages relationships with the media, local communities, Indigenous Peoples, and authorities. They support the client in promoting the project and managing communication challenges with stakeholders. This role is essential to ensure transparency, consistency, and impact of messaging throughout the project lifecycle.
What you will do

General Coordination

• Identify opportunities to promote the project for the client.

• Design, produce, and coordinate communication tools (print, web, video).
• Write various types of content: articles, video scripts, technical sheets, notices to residents.
• Integrate visual elements (photos, videos, webcam footage) into communication materials.
• Organize events related to community relations.
• Plan and supervise photo and video sessions.
• Provide technical support for multimedia projects.
• Produce and manage internal communication tools.

Client & Stakeholder Relations
• Validate information with the client before distribution.
• Support the client in creating content and organizing events.
• Maintain relationships with First Nations, local authorities, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with EPC teams and project partners to ensure message consistency.


This role could be for you if you have

• A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
• Between 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a complex or transformational project environment.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Proficiency with communication tools and platforms (CMS, Adobe Suite, video tools, social media).
• Experience in managing communication projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
