The Quality Systems Specialist for Major Projects is responsible for leading and sustaining the business unit’s quality approach, while supporting projects in the implementation of their own quality systems. He/She must ensure the interpretation, guidance, and application of quality assurance standards.
What you will do

• Prepare or update all documents related to the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Participate in all initiatives aimed at obtaining and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification
• Lead quality orientation meetings, especially for new employees
• Contribute to defining documentation needs to meet contract and ISO 9001:2015 requirements
• Conduct quality audits, maintain the audit schedule, and ensure the recording, follow-up, and closure of identified gaps
• Prepare monthly quality reports
• Draft or coordinate the drafting of processes, organizational procedures, templates, and other QMS elements in collaboration with the Major Projects Quality Director
• Support the major projects team in issuing and managing non-conformities
• Maintain the document register for the major projects business unit
• Prepare, coordinate, or support designated staff in producing required documentation (quality plans, management plans, procedures, etc.) for all activities
• Draft and maintain non-conformity reports related to quality assurance gaps, along with associated corrective actions
• Propose and implement continuous improvement actions
• Prepare and ensure proper distribution of “Quality Notes” to raise project awareness on quality assurance and best practices
• Ensure proper communication of all quality assurance-related matters to relevant stakeholders
• Compile information, track indicators, and manage actions (e.g., performance dashboards, non-conformity management) for all major projects
• Collect, communicate, and archive project feedback and lessons learned
• Gather information, prepare, and support the successful execution of the business unit’s Management Review

This role could be for you if you have

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing and supporting the execution of large civil engineering projects
• Proficient in SharePoint and the Microsoft Office suite
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to identify priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain harmonious relationships
• Demonstrates leadership qualities
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills
• Ability to work with rigor and precision
• Shows initiative, sound judgment, and a proactive approach
