As an Accounts Payable Agent working in the Operational Support team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial operations of the business. Supporting our large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will have the opportunity own the accounts payable processes, manage invoice reconciliations and ensure all data is updated within the system.
What you will do

• You’re a master of invoices, reviewing and processing supplier and subcontractor invoices.
• You’re attentive to client communication, managing incoming emails and invoices, ensuring obstacles are resolved efficiently.
• You’re diligent in tracking your invoices in our ERP system.
• You’re meticulously organized in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• You meet deadlines and strive to be proactive in following up on monthly and final releases, including legal documentation.
•You’re always ready to lend a hand to your teammates, especially the regional manager, when needed.


This role could be for you if you have

• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and accounts payable.
• A college diploma with a specialization in accounting or relevant professional experience.
• A team spirit and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Additional Assets

• Previous experience in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with an ERP system.
