Join Pomerleau as a Design Coordinator Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting major construction projects across Canada.

What you will do

• Help facilitate communication between designers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor design schedules and track progress to ensure timely reviews and submissions.
• Support the management of design inputs, requests, and responses.
• Participate in the RFI and Quality Review processes, ensuring clarity and relevance.
• Review feedback and assist in coordinating design decisions related to procurement and construction.
• Contribute to presentation preparation for key stakeholders and maintain organized documentation.
• Assist in organizing design workshops and documenting meeting outcomes.


This role could be for you if you have

• Enrollment in a Civil Engineering program.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in an office-based environment.
• Passionate about construction and making an impact.
• Self starter with a proactive approach to learning and contributing.


Start date: January 12, 2026 We offer flexible internship durations of 4, 8, or 12 months to support your learning journey. Just a quick note to let you know that we don’t offer relocation assistance for internship placements.
