Under the supervision of the Methods and Temporary Works Engineer, the position holder contributes to the coordination and drafting of construction methods and temporary works plans. The work will take place in a dynamic environment within a small multidisciplinary team, in direct relation with both the design and execution of the works. Projects will be varied and range from medium to large scale.
What you will do

• Participate, alongside the Methods Engineers and in collaboration with the construction team, in defining the general methods to be deployed on site;
• Produce structural drawings for temporary wood and steel structures;
• Create design and fabrication details;
• Develop layout and phasing plans for site installations;
• Produce phasing plans: usage cycles of temporary works, definition of teams and equipment, and other method-related plans;
• Ensure the quality of the documents produced and compliance with the deliverable production schedule;
• Collaborate with the engineer in developing solutions;
• Perform other related tasks involving modeling and drawing production.

This role could be for you if you have

• Hold a college diploma in civil engineering or possess equivalent experience combined with relevant training;
• Have experience in modeling, fabrication, and/or construction (temporary works, civil engineering structures, or other infrastructure);
• Experience with non-standard structures using various types of materials is an asset;
• Proficiency in one of the following software programs: Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D;
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is an asset;
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing;
• Strong ability to synthesize processes;
• Versatile, autonomous, curious, and resourceful;
• Interest in new technologies.
