Under the supervision of the Senior Director, the Team Lead is responsible for managing, developing, and fostering cohesion within the technological project management team. They ensure synergy, performance, and continuous improvement of the team, while supporting strategic alignment with the organization’s objectives.
What You’ll Do

Team Leadership and Development

• Provide individual follow-up with team members (project progress, coaching, professional development, training, feedback, onboarding of new employees)
• Define performance objectives and expectations for each team member and support their growth
• Foster team cohesion, collaboration, and synergy (organize workshops, team meetings, team profiles)
• Manage onboarding of new employees and encourage continuous development
• Ensure effective delegation of responsibilities, promoting autonomy and skill development for each member

Operational Management and Innovation

• Monitor time allocation and workload across the team
• Oversee the progress of technological projects (dashboards, milestone reviews, reporting)
• Be ready to “jump in” and take direct project management responsibilities when needed, to ensure continuity and successful delivery
• Promote and structure new ideas, encourage innovation management
• Advocate for internal initiatives and maintain strong connections with other teams

Project Management Excellence

• Actively participate in the project management best practices committee
• Continuously manage and improve project management and change management standards
• Collaborate on project and change management strategy, in partnership with the dedicated team

Strategic Vision and Collaboration

• Contribute to the team’s strategic planning with the Senior Director
• Report to leadership (reports, KPIs, assessments)
• Maintain a positive, engaging work environment aligned with the organization’s values


This Role Is for You If You Have:

• Significant experience in team management (more than 10 people)
• Strong background in technological project management (8+ years)
• Solid knowledge of Agile and Hybrid methodologies
• Inspiring leadership, strong organizational skills, ability to unite and motivate
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Office Suite, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of change management (Prosci method, certification is an asset)
• Proficiency in Power BI (an asset)
• Familiarity with AI tools – Copilot (an asset)
• Experience in innovation and knowledge of advanced technological environments (an asset)
• Ability to manage conflicts, adapt to rapid change, and positively influence
• Strong listening, empathy, and influencing skills
