Join Pomerleau as a ERP Proof of Concept for Major Projects Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting major construction projects across Canada.

What you will do

• Understand the business challenges and objectives of the internship
• Familiarize yourself with current processes related to project management and procurement
• Identify pain points, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Study and understand the relevance of ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, etc.) for procurement
• Compare key functionalities: planning, cost management, logistics, collaboration
• Include an analysis of material typologies
• Define the functional and operational scope of the POC
• Identify high-value use cases and collaborate with internal teams (IT, PMO, engineering, construction, etc.)
• Configure the POC tool in an appropriate environment and document the results in a structured report
• Simulate real scenarios using representative data
• Measure impacts on processes, timelines, quality, and traceability
• Present findings to stakeholders
• Provide recommendations on ERP deployment scenarios, considering project specifics (size, complexity, duration, material typology), internal capabilities, and success factors)


This role could be for you if you have

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s in: Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, or Digital Transformation
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to structure and synthesize information
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ideally ERP systems
• Ability to work in a project-based environment with autonomy and rigor
• Excellent communication skills (French/English)


Start date: January 12, 2026
Internship duration: Option of 4, 8 or 12 months
