As an MEP Operations Lead within the Building and Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you play a key role in coordinating mechanical and electrical activities across large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion. Your expertise ensures smooth execution and compliance, while supporting project teams with technical leadership and proactive problem-solving
What you will do

• Provide strategic support to project teams by planning and coordinating all on-site mechanical and electrical activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, requirements, and codes.
• Apply proactive problem-solving skills to coordinate drawings and technical information, eliminating interference issues.
• Maintain organization of schedule requirements and priorities, mechanical and electrical RFIs, shop drawings, contracts, and project completion documents.
• Collaborate extensively with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients, sharing your mechanical and electrical expertise.
• Act as the point person for organizing and facilitating mechanical and electrical coordination and interference meetings.
• Prepare and compile project reports as required.

This role could be for you if you have

• 5 years of mechanical and electrical experience in the construction industry
• A university degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience
• A proven track record of mechanical and electrical coordination and team collaboration
