As a Document Management Technician working in the Major Projects team at Pomerleau Construction, you will manage documentation, procedures and standards within the framework of a construction project and in compliance with contractual requirements. Contributing on various large-scale projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of stakeholders to improve internal electronic document management processes.
What you will do

• Administer the electronic document management platform;
• Manage user access and permissions;
• Apply the document coding and identification system;
• Ensure that document management processes are properly followed;
• Act as a resource person for users of the documentation platform;
• Carry out document control on deliverables, plans and specifications and ensure distribution to the various stakeholders;
• Assisting stakeholders in searching for and tracking project documents in the documentation system;
• Participate in improving internal electronic document management processes.



This role could be for you if you have

• You have an educational background in document management/archiving or Documentation technician or other related field.
• Relevant experience in document management.
• Knowledge of Procore/Aconex (an asset);
• Good knowledge of standard computer software (Office suite, Adobe Acrobat);
• Analytical mind, ability to manage several files simultaneously, good adaptability, organizational skills and good judgment;
• Interpersonal and teamwork skills.
