As a Project Administrative Assistant working in the operational support team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the business. Supporting our work on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will be pivotal in creating a positive first impression for clients and visitors while supporting project documentation, schedules, and resource coordination.
What you will do

• Communicate effectively with team members, partners, consultants, and clients, ensuring exceptional client service.
• Use and maintain innovative internal technology systems for project documentation.
• Assist in drafting contract award letters and diligently manage key documentation.
• Ensure accuracy and distribution of critical information with meticulous attention to detail.
• Organize and maintain shop drawings, RFI’s, material purchase orders, change notice quotes, and project completion documents.
• Adapt project presentations to reflect changes proactively.
• Manage project invoicing and ensure timely transmission to Accounts Payable.


This role could be for you if you have

• A College Diploma in Office Administration, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• 2+ years’ administrative experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experienced working with MS Office Suite.
• Candidate MUST be eligible to obtain a government level Reliability Clearance.
• High degree of professionalism and exceptional communication.

Additional Assets Include

• Previous knowledge of the construction industry.
• Experience working with Procore.
