As an MEP Operations Lead within the Building and Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you play a key role in coordinating mechanical and electrical activities across large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion. Your expertise ensures smooth execution and compliance, while supporting project teams with technical leadership and proactive problem-solving
What you will do

• • Serve as the electromechanical reference for the project and provide leadership to the entire project team.
• Understand complex electromechanical concepts and demonstrate strong problem solving abilities.
• Maintain solid knowledge of contractual obligations and/or participate in defining the client's needs and requirements.
• Identify key project issues and risks.
• Define the scope of work and deliverables for partners and specialties involved in electromechanics.
• Support the project team in preparing and validating construction and commissioning schedules, reviewing technical specialty shop drawings, and assisting with procurement (cost considerations).
• Build and maintain positive business relationships with key stakeholders.

This role could be for you if you have
• +5 years of mechanical and electrical experience in the construction industry
• A university degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience
• A proven track record of mechanical and electrical coordination and team collaboration
• Electrical Strong background
