As a surveyor lead within Pomerleau's civil engineering & infrastructure team, you will work closely with all workers to ensure the coordination of work. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from 1.5 million dollars to over one billion dollars - you will have the opportunity to actively participate in layouts and technical controls to ensure that the work complies with project requirements.
What you will do

• Develop and maintain the project survey plan (sequences, methods, tolerances, resources);
• Support superintendents, foremen, and project managers to ensure alignment between surveying and execution;
• Supervise the installation of wind turbine foundations, access roads, crane pads, underground collector, and electrical substation facilities;
• Set up and maintain the geodetic network (GNSS, robotic station, leveling), and manage files/updates;
• Perform or validate daily surveys, produce georeferenced as-builts, and deliver them according to client/engineering requirements;
• Lead the team of surveyors/technicians, ensure training and engagement;
• Work as a team, maintain a pleasant and trusting work environment, communicate effectively with colleagues and other trades on the site;
• Perform any other related tasks connected to operations.


This role could be for you if you have

• Un DEP, AEC ou Certificat en arpentage ou génie civil
• 3 à 4 ans d’expérience en chantier de construction civil
• Une carte ASP Construction & SIMDUT 2015
• Un permis de conduire valide – Classe 5
• Une maîtrise des outils d’arpentage (station totale robotisée, GPS)
