As a logistic clerk on Pomerleau's logistics team, you will be responsible for receiving, classifying, sorting, storing and shipping goods for use on our construction sites for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will have the opportunity to work closely with several logistics teams.
What you will do

• Receive, inspect, sort, pack and unpack materials from suppliers, offices and job sites
• Validate quantities, condition and compliance of materials, and report any discrepancies
• Store materials in an organized manner to ensure accessibility and proper condition
• Prepare, pack and ship orders to job sites or suppliers
• Load and unload materials using handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
• Process returns from job sites and assess material condition (reusable, repair, replace)
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track all transactions in the system
•Complete shipping documentation and ensure proper shipment follow-up
• Identify and ensure traceability of tools and equipment
• Participate in inventory counts and stock replenishment
• Follow health and safety regulations and internal procedures (WHMIS, TDG, as applicable)


This role could be for you if you have

• A High School Diploma (DES), an ASP and/or a DEP in a relevant field;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (inventory management, parts clerk, warehouse attendant, tool rental, etc.);
• Adaptability and autonomy, while promoting teamwork;
• A positive attitude and are rigorous, methodical and detail-oriented.


Additional assets

• WHMIS training or training in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG);
• Experience operating a forklift or an aerial work platform.
