What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the network and IT infrastructure administrators team for offices and construction sites.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize projects related to network infrastructure, connectivity, virtualization, and storage.
• Develop and maintain documentation for business processes and operational procedures related to infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the availability, performance, and security of networks and systems.
• Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, Wi‑Fi) and virtualization platforms (VMware).
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of technical experts, fostering their professional development and engagement.
• Collaborate with IT teams, construction/site teams, and stakeholders to define, plan, and oversee infrastructure projects.
• Monitor technological trends to stay up to date on best practices in network and cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize and automate network and infrastructure administration processes to improve efficiency and security.
• Contribute to the management of IT infrastructure budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
• Provide expertise and guidance on infrastructure operations and controls, including incident management, service continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements for both the team and infrastructure.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the SharePoint team, including operations, platform evolution, support, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure SharePoint alignment with business needs, governance practices, information security requirements, and organizational IT standards.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and other stakeholders to ensure an optimal, consistent, and sustainable use of the SharePoint platform.

This role could be for you if you have

• 15+ years of experience in the information technology sector, including at least 7+ years in administration and coordination of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in network infrastructure, security, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Proven experience managing technical teams and infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience applying the ITIL framework and related best practices.
• Demonstrated experience implementing governance processes and models.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM tools and excellent mastery of CMDB concepts.
• Proficiency with the following technologies: ZTNA, Fortinet, and VMware.
• Strong analytical skills with experience solving complex problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Mobilizing leadership style and strong alignment with Pomerleau’s values of collaboration, innovation, and engagement.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative.
• Availability for occasional travel across Canada.
