As an experienced BIM Coordinator working in the Major Projects team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support new and ongoing project growth, challenging industry standards with your trade-driven expertise and knowledge. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – upwards of $1 billion – you will work closely with the project management team, various client groups and subtrades to ensure project excellence through your outstanding leadership, keen eye for detail and commitment to quality, and health and safety.
What you will do

The BIM Coordinator will be responsible to produce and coordinate models and drawings that can contain 3D and 2D visualizations that bring together geometry and data based in the information provided by Design and Construction teams, in a multi-disciplinary and high demanding environment.

They will be responsible for capturing existing conditions, Design coordination and Clash detection, Produce Construction Documentation (including CAD), Generating Estimates QTO, Modeling of Temporary Works, Modeling of Construction Site Logistics, Construction Sequence and analysis, Construction progress tracking, Field BIM, As-built documentation

• Development of building and civil disciplines models based on 2D/3D design information and survey data, according to the
project BIM standards and providing the level of detail required for construction purposes.
• Creation, coordination and maintenance of federated models from different sources of information (BIM, CAD, GIS,
point clouds).
• Clash detection analysis
• Extraction and modification of drawings/data from models.
• Model-based quantities takeoff.
• Supplier BIM Shop Drawings coordination and QA/QC checking.
• Incorporate As-Built Survey into BIM for final submission to Province.

This role could be for you if you have

• Engineering degree, college level diploma or similar with Civil Engineering background (exposure on rails and/or tunnels projects is valuable)
• More than one year of experience working in engineering or construction projects.
• Experience in structural and civil modeling.
• More than three years of experience using Revit.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience of modeling and drafting with Autodesk AEC Collection (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks…)
• Knowledge of Autodesk ACC – Docs, Design Collaborate, Assemble
