As an Drill Rig Operator with Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure team, you will work closely with all crew members to ensure the coordination and execution of construction activities. Working on large-scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the productivity and efficiency of operations on our job sites.
What you will do

•Perform drilling operations for deep foundation work (drilled shafts, caissons up to 2.5 metres in diameter) using LB30 to LB45 drilling rigs.
•Assemble and disassemble drilling rigs in collaboration with other Crane Operators and Mechanics.
•Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any irregularities or defects.
•Ensure the quality and vertical alignment of drilled shafts according to required tolerances.
•Work closely with Crane Operators, Signal Persons, Forepersons, and Engineers.
•Maintain a safe work environment by strictly following all health and safety procedures.



This role could be for you if you have

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Crane Operator.
Valid CCQ Crane Operator certification.
Valid ASP Construction card.
Experience operating a drilling rig is considered an asset; internal training may be provided.
•Essential experience in deep foundation work (drilled shafts, caissons, etc.).
