As a Change Manager within Pomerleau’s Major Projects team, you will report to the Senior Contract Manager. You will play a key role in the proactive management of all changes that may impact the project. You will also work closely with all project functions to anticipate, assess, and document the impacts of changes.
What you will do :
• Communicate change-related issues and processes to various team members;
• Identify potential changes that may impact the project schedule and/or costs, and monitor their progress;
• Estimate the impacts related to changes;
• Manage, coordinate, explain, and validate various change requests issued by the project team, subcontractors, and the client;
• Enter changes into the system implemented for the project and continuously document these changes;
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex situations, model different scenarios, evaluate possible solutions, and recommend appropriate strategies;
• Ensure follow-up on potential change notices until final approval;
• Collaborate daily with planners, estimators, and other team members to identify, assess, and document various changes.


This role could be for you if you have :
• Relevant experience in cost estimating;
• Relevant experience in drafting claims/change notices;
• A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or a combination of education and relevant experience;
• 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry;
• 3 or more years of experience in a similar role.
