Reporting to the Director, Integrated Management Systems, the incumbent advises the system development teams on all processes related to logistics and supply management for major projects. He ensures that the proposed methodology and the systems that support them meet best practices in procurement for large construction projects. He works closely with the strategic purchasing department and the construction sites. He ensures that the systems are well implemented on all projects.
What you will do :

• Implement an appropriate procurement methodology for all projects using our integrated management systems;
• Assess the relevance of change requests to the systems and prioritize them based on their impact on the activities of all projects;
• Promote innovation in procurement tools;
• Analyze the contractual requirements for each project in terms of procurement;
• Propose an ecosystem of tools that meet the specificities of the projects;
• Assist project staff in configuring and properly using the systems made available to them;
• Advise project managers in organizing the necessary resources to properly operate procurement activities;
• Define and monitor key performance indicators to ensure that the systems are used correctly;
• Maintain an open line of communication with project teams to understand their system-related issues.

This role could be for you if you have :

• Hold a university degree relevant to the role or in supply chain management;
• Have 10 years of experience related to procurement and contract management in construction projects;
• Master procurement processes from purchase to payment;
• Demonstrate proven leadership in implementing supply chain management systems within project teams and various stakeholders;
• Have strong project management skills, with the ability to supervise multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously;
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing strong relationships with internal teams and external partners;
• Be available for business travel across Canada, as needed.
