As a warehouse clerk on Pomerleau's logistics team, you will be responsible for receiving, classifying, sorting, storing and shipping goods for use on our construction sites for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will have the opportunity to work closely with several logistics teams.
What you will do

• Receive, count, weigh, sort, inspect, organize, pack, and unpack goods from suppliers, offices, or construction sites (tools, various parts, site consumables, materials, and other products intended for use on our construction sites);
• Store goods in an orderly manner to ensure easy access and proper condition;
• Process merchandise requests and prepare shipments to be sent to construction sites or suppliers;
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods using various handling/lifting equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.);
• Maintain inventory order records and organize them using a manual or computerized system;
• Prepare inventory replenishment orders;
• Provide recommendations to users when necessary regarding products and tools in warehouse inventory;
• Complete documentation for shipping and tracking of shipments;
• Identify stored tools and equipment;
• Participate in inventory checks and counts;
• Monitor measuring equipment in accordance with ISO standards;


This role could be for you if you have

• Hold a High School Diploma (DES), a Vocational Studies Certificate (ASP), and/or a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in a relevant field;
• Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (inventory management, parts clerk, storekeeper, tool rental, etc.);
• Demonstrate adaptability and autonomy while promoting teamwork;
• Be positively engaged, rigorous, methodical, and detail-oriented;

Additional Assets:

• WHMIS training or training in the transportation of dangerous goods (TDG);
• Experience operating a forklift or an aerial work platform;
