As a Human Resources Business Partner working in the Talent, Culture & Leadership team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a pivotal role in creating and developing exception employee experiences. Supporting our Vancouver operations team, this role will support the development of our HR strategy and talent programs in conjunction with the HR Director.
What you will do

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with leadership and project teams to influence HR decisions.
• Continuously enhance HR services using data insights and best practices.
• Effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential employee/labour relations matters that arise within the project.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and handle offboarding with professionalism and empathy.
• Foster communication between managers and employees through performance management and coaching.
• Address sensitive and confidential employee relations issues effectively.
• Develop strategies to boost team morale and job satisfaction through team building and wellness initiatives.

This role could be for you if you have

• A post-secondary degree and/or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial or labor relations or any other related discipline.
• 3+ years of human resources management experience.
• Strong employee relations experience.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple leaders, providing effective guidance and challenge where appropriate.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with team members.
• Proficient in all areas of Canadian employment laws.
• Certified Human Resources Professional (CRHP) designation is considered an asset.
