As a Receptionist working in the operational support team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth functioning of the business. Supporting our office management, where we work on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will play a key role in providing a great first impression for our clients and visitors.
What you will do

• Greet and welcome all visitors and returning clients with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they added into our electronic sign-in system.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence and phone calls, delegating to appropriate personnel where required.
• Ensure our reception and front office space and supply rooms are maintained and organized at all times.
• Receive and coordinate incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments with couriers.
• Own the scheduling of all boardrooms and various collaborative spaces.
• Coordinate with HR and IT to prepare new hire collateral and equipment for their first day.
• Manage the local offices parking pass distributions and transit reimbursements, providing monthly updates to payroll.
• Maintaining inventory, consumables, and organization within the shared spaces and boardrooms.
• Support additional administrative tasks as required to support day to day business
• Assist with internal events as needed, including planning, coordination and on-site support
• Help with catering orders, room setup, and breakdown
