Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for coordinating excavation and earthmoving work in preparation for wind farm projects. Working on large-scale construction projects—ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of these projects.
What you will do :
• Provide constant leadership in health and safety in order to meet the highest industry standards;
• Lead safety breaks and actively participate in coordination meetings, at the start of the shift, with the OHS team;
• Supervise, organize and actively manage workers in order to optimize performance and quality of work execution;
• Actively participate in planning the work of subcontractors, different specialties and other trades in collaboration with the superintendent;
• Ensure you have the tools, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work within the required timeframes based on the plans and specifications;
• Write, prepare and manage technical and administrative documents (daily work reports, timesheets for your team and subcontractors);
• Master the reading and application of plans and specifications for work relating to your specialty;
• Ensure compliance with the rules relating to environmental issues on the site;
• Ensure rigorous quality monitoring throughout the project, with your team and subcontractors;
• Promote teamwork and encourage collaboration, demonstrate positive leadership and maintain a pleasant working climate;
• Perform all other related tasks related to operations.

This role is made for you if you have:
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering including 2 years as foreman in excavation, forestry roadworks, or earthmoving
• A valid CCQ card
• A valid driving license – Class 5
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great mastery of reading plans and specifications and managing priorities
• Technological skills
