As an Ethics and Compliance Coordinator within Pomerleau’s Ethics and Compliance (“E&C”) function, you will play a key role in the company’s future success by coordinating the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the E&C program. Supporting large-scale construction projects—from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—you will act as a coordinator to support the company’s daily activities and operations.
What you will do


• Coordinate the action plan of the Ethics and Compliance program and support its development.
• Participate in the creation of training content and in the facilitation of sessions on business integrity initiatives.
• Manage and contribute to the development of training materials and other communication tools for employees to promote a culture of integrity and sound ethical practices.
• Prepare various reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors on the activities of the Ethics and Compliance function.
• Assist in the development, updating, and dissemination of policies and procedures, and ensure their proper communication and application.
• Act as a thought partner with the Ethics and Compliance team on culture-related matters and collaborate with other functions and operations to provide insights and trends regarding misconduct allegations, promoting an understanding of cultural issues and potential solutions.
• Coordinate corporate compliance related to personal information, lobbying, and oversee follow-ups to production requests from various regulatory bodies (e.g., OQLF, AMP, RBQ, Lobbying).
• Coordinate the intake and processing of reports (whistleblowing) and monitor corrective measures and recommendations.
• Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of control measures designed to prevent and detect risks and potential cases of non-compliance, both at the corporate level and within operations.
• Provide any additional support required by the Ethics and Compliance function and perform any other relevant tasks as needed.




This role could be for you if you have

• Degree in law, or certification in ethics and compliance, risk management, public administration, governance, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in ethics, compliance, law, human resources, audit, or risk management.
• Creativity, passion, and a good knowledge about ethics, integrity, and compliance.
• Experience in writing and handling matters related to ethics, whistleblowing investigations, or regulatory compliance is an asset.
• Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Strong ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong business acumen and a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
