To support this evolution, Pomerleau is seeking a Vice President Enterprise Platforms and Services. Reporting directly to the Chief Innovation & Information Officer, this leader will be accountable for the organisation’s core enterprise systems and digital operations.
Overseeing a national team of 30 to 40 professionals, this leader will assume responsibility for ERP, HRIS, PMIS, enterprise applications, platform operations, and joint venture IT services. They will guide the modernization and simplification of Pomerleau’s enterprise platforms, support and drive the organisation’s transformation toward more integrated and automated processes, and strengthen operational discipline across the platform ecosystem.
This role is central to Pomerleau’s next chapter. The Senior Director or Vice President will modernize critical business processes, particularly within Finance and project delivery, ensuring technology becomes a consistent, scalable, and value generating partner. They will also shape the culture and operating model of a diverse, technically skilled team, developing capabilities that strengthen execution, service excellence, and alignment with business strategy.
What you will do

Enterprise Platform Strategy and Transformation
• Define the target platform strategy for ERP, HRIS, PMIS and key enterprise applications
• Lead the transition from the current ERPs SAP and CMIC to a consolidated enterprise solution
• Drive application rationalization, reducing complexity and improving platform coherence
• Ensure platform choices support future growth, data accessibility, integration and operational efficiency

Business Process Modernization
• Partner closely with Finance to redesign and modernize core processes including P2P, payroll, project accounting and reporting
• Introduce best practices and standardization across regions and project teams
• Reduce manual processes by introducing effective automation and workflow capabilities

Transformation Delivery
• Lead delivery of the multiyear enterprise platform transformation roadmap
• Establish program governance, risk management and cross functional alignment
• Coordinate with Operations, HR and Project Delivery to ensure solutions meet business needs
• Oversee change management, communication, adoption and training

Platform Operations and Service Excellence
• Oversee operations and continuous improvement for enterprise platforms including SAP CMIC SuccessFactors Procore Salesforce and ServiceNow
• Ensure reliable platform performance, strong support models, and measurable service levels
• Lead the Level 2 support and field enablement teams responsible for onboarding projects and supporting system usage
• Drive improvements in efficiency stability and user experience across all supported platforms

Joint Venture IT Ecosystem Leadership
• Support and operate IT ecosystems for Joint Ventures where Pomerleau is the lead partner
• Collaborate with bid teams to define IT requirements, service offerings and cost models
• Manage a small PL ensuring cost recovery and modest operational margin
• Standardize JV environments to reduce variability and improve delivery consistency

Stakeholder Leadership and Communication
• Influence senior leaders on platform strategy, modernization priorities and required trade-offs
• Drive harmonization across regions and business units while respecting operational realities
• Communicate program progress status risks and decisions clearly and transparently

People Leadership
• Lead and develop a team of 30 to 40 professionals across enterprise platforms and JV services
• Build capability in platform management system integration financial systems and service delivery
• Create a culture of accountability collaboration and service excellence
• Provide leadership alignment and coaching through a period of significant change


This role could be for you if you have

• Senior technology leader / VP with experience leading enterprise platform or ERP or relevant organisational transformation
• Strong track record with complex technology environments including implementation consolidation or modernization or organisational platforms
• Experience in construction engineering infrastructure or similar project based industries preferred
• Experience supporting technology within Joint Ventures or multi entity environments is beneficial
• Exposure to AI and analytics environments is an asset
• Strategic thinker who can simplify complexity and set a clear path forward
• Strong program leader who can deliver outcomes in multiyear transformations
• Credible communicator with senior executives and operational teams
• Strong commercial awareness including business case development and cost management
• Pragmatic adaptable and confident navigating ambiguity
