As a Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for developing innovative solutions to design and build temporary structures, while overseeing the successful installation of infrastructure on-site. Supporting large-scale building and infrastructure projects ranging from $1.5M to over $1B, this hands-on, mechanically skilled leader ensures all company and subcontractor equipment is safe, serviced, operational, and consistently ready for use. This role goes far beyond tracking or logging equipment it requires direct technical oversight, proactive follow-up, and full ownership of equipment performance to support site operations. The position bridges day to day mechanical needs with long term asset reliability and maintenance planning
What you will do

• Equipment Maintenance & Readiness: Ensure all company and subcontractor equipment is maintained, serviced, and compliant with project and manufacturer requirements. Oversee the operational readiness of: Generators, Compressors, Pumps, Mechanical and support infrastructure. Actively follow up on maintenance activities to prevent downtime, not just react to failures.
• Mechanical Oversight & Troubleshooting: Work closely with site teams to identify mechanical issues early. Support and coordinate troubleshooting, repairs, and corrective actions. Validate that repairs are completed properly and equipment is fit for service.
• Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain a clear overview of all equipment on-site and off-site, owned or rented. Ensure spare parts inventory is adequate, up to date, and aligned with operational risks. Track equipment condition, movement, and availability with a focus on decision-making, not administration only.
• Supplier & OEM Coordination: Maintain direct contact with OEMs, suppliers, and service providers. Coordinate servicing, inspections, repairs, and technical support. Ensure spare parts, consumables, and technical interventions are available when needed.
• Preventive Maintenance & Reliability: Implement and follow preventive maintenance programs. Anticipate failures and reduce emergency repairs. Contribute to improving equipment reliability and lifecycle performance.
• Systems, Reporting & Handover: Ensure equipment status, location, and condition are accurately updated in ServiceNow (or equivalent system). Support proper handover between shifts, teams, and locations. Provide clear visibility to operations and management on equipment readiness.

This role could be for you if you have

• + 7 yrs leading Equipment Maintenance for heavy equipment
• Strong mechanical background (industrial, construction, marine, or heavy equipment).
• Solid understanding of equipment maintenance and field operations.
• Comfortable working directly with field teams and suppliers.
• Organized, structured, and action-oriented.
• Ability to work rotational schedules of 14/7 or standard 5/2
