The position holder provides administrative support to the Prevention, Dispute Resolution, and Litigation team
What you will do

• Prepare letter templates, court procedure documents, and all other administrative documents, and perform their review and final formatting prior to transmission;
• Handle email notifications and coordinate the service and filing of court proceedings through bailiffs, ensuring all deadlines are met;
• Manage legal deadlines, including calculating them and entering them into the lawyers’ calendars;
• Ensure follow-up and proper application of procedural rules, Court directives, and amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure;
• Conduct searches in certain public registries (REQ, SOQUIJ, land registry, etc.);
• Open, organize, and keep electronic files and various internal databases (procedures, correspondence, training records, etc.) up to date, in accordance with the legal department’s internal procedures;
• Provide daily administrative support to lawyers, including calendar management, meeting and business travel planning, preparing expense reports, monitoring training requirements, tracking invoice payments, etc.;
• Work closely with other legal assistants;
• Perform any other related tasks or responsibilities.



This role could be for you if you have

• A diploma in legal secretarial studies or equivalent experience;
• More than 2 years of experience in the legal field;
• Relevant experience in litigation (required) and in the construction industry (an asset);
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software;
• Strong teamwork skills;
• Autonomy, thoroughness, priority management, and strong organizational skills;
• Ability to manage tight deadlines;
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling files;

• A positive and proactive attitude.
