As a Project Coordinator within Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure division, you will manage multiple activities and schedules to develop a clear understanding of client, team, and project needs. Working on large-scale construction projects—ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—you will play a key role in stakeholder communication, resource coordination, and the oversight of various administrative tasks.
What you will do

• Support the project team with your strong attention to detail by ensuring effective project coordination and administrative support.
• Apply your passion for customer service by maintaining clear communication with team members, business partners, consultants, and clients.
• Review, interpret, and diligently update our construction schedules.
• Leverage your organizational strengths by maintaining, reviewing, and tracking shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice specifications, and project closeout documents.
• Thoroughly review, gather, and analyze project quotations, seeking the best prices on the market.
• Ensure the collection and completion of company-wide project reports for the projects under your responsibility.
• Act as a role model in applying project-specific safety standards by helping promote Pomerleau’s health and safety programs, as well as applicable occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and codes to all employees and partners on site.


This role could be for you if you have

• A university or technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
• Approximately 2 to 5 years of professional experience in the construction industry.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Versatility, curiosity, rigor, and a desire to be actively involved on a construction site.
• The ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
