Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector – Building Division ensures that on‑site construction work complies with the project Quality Plan, inspection and test plans, and contractual requirements.The role involves performing site inspections, identifying non‑conformities, and coordinating corrective actions until full resolution.Acting as a key link between site stakeholders and the quality team, the Quality Inspector actively contributes to the successful delivery of Pomerleau’s building projects.
What you will do

• Act as a liaison between site stakeholders and the Quality Manager;
• Identify quality issues and deviations from the quality assurance system;
• Ensure that operations are controlled and followed through until complete resolution of any identified issues;
• Implement non-conformance reports and corrective actions;
• Perform site inspections in accordance with PRIE requirements;
• Report all site deviations to the Quality Manager;
• Prepare execution procedures required for the project;
• Verify the on-site application of technical changes issued by professionals;
• Ensure work compliance with shop drawings and other submitted technical documents;
• Implement the Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs);
• Complete and maintain quality-related records and ensure proper follow-up;
• Conduct inspections independently with site personnel in accordance with ITPs;
• Compile and analyze data and statistics related to non-conformities;
• Supervise deficiency listings and follow up on corrective actions;
• Monitor and follow up on site material procurement.


This role could be for you if you have

• A bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture;
• Relevant experience in the construction industry and quality management;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software;
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities;

• Geographical mobility (an asset).
