The Quality Coordinator – Building Division is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring quality requirements throughout construction projects. Working closely with the project team, the role acts as a quality expert and key point of contact for clients, professionals, contractors, and subcontracting partners to ensure that all work complies with Pomerleau’s standards and contractual requirements.
What you will do

• Act as the liaison between the client, professionals, contractor, owner’s representative, and subcontractors for all quality‑related matters;
• Identify, analyze, and proactively raise potential quality issues and deviations from final product requirements or established processes;
• Implement, recommend, and propose appropriate solutions to identified observations and non‑conformities;
• Ensure that all observations and non‑conformities are closely monitored and controlled until full corrective action is completed;
• Develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure their effective implementation on site;
• Prepare the project Quality Plan and oversee its implementation;
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and the quality assurance system;
• Exercise the required authority to identify quality deviations, recommend or enforce corrective measures, and, when necessary, suspend activities that do not comply with quality documentation;
• Actively collaborate with the project team to ensure work compliance and the achievement of the project’s quality objectives.


This role could be for you if you have

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Construction, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture;
• Have 5 years of a combination of relevant education and experience in the construction industry;
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software;
• Possess strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
