The Procurement Specialist independently manages the tendering and contracting processes for critical packages or those with high financial leverage. They analyze project needs, prepare and issue tender documents, conduct commercial analyses, negotiate contractual terms, and ensure the finalization of subcontracts. The Specialist plays a central role in advanced analysis, negotiation, and coordination.
What you will do :

Procurement Planning and Preparation

• Analyze project requirements and technical specifications.
• Identify suppliers, analyze markets, and prequalify potential bidders.
• Prepare lists of qualified bidders.

Tendering, Analysis, and Contract Management

• Independently manage end‑to‑end tendering processes, primarily for critical or high‑leverage tenders.
• Prepare and issue tender documents.
• Lead pre‑bid and pre‑award meetings.
• Conduct commercial analysis of bids and issue recommendations.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Negotiate contractual terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure the preparation and finalization of contractual documents.

Communication, Coordination, and Follow‑up

• Consolidate progress information related to procurement activities.
• Participate in internal and external monitoring and control meetings.
• Communicate procurement progress to stakeholders.

Risk Management, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement

• Assess contractual and commercial risks for managed packages.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices.
• Ensure an effective handover to contract administration and follow‑up on materials and equipment.
• Perform any other related tasks.

This role could be for you if you have :

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the construction and/or industrial sector;
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or specialized training in procurement;

• Knowledge of project management is considered an asset.
