As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will be at the forefront of the construction industry, gathering critical market insights that enable our team to make informed, high-impact business decisions.
The Market Intelligence Analyst plays a key role in reporting, analysis, and guiding long-term strategic trend direction within Canada’s construction industry. In this role, you will collect and synthesize data from a variety of sources aligned with established business priorities and objectives, while also exploring additional avenues for growth and development relevant to the organization.
What you will do

• Identify and define the objectives of assigned market research projects; determine the most appropriate methodologies to achieve them;
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, and manage and update dashboards and reports in Salesforce;
• Liaise with Business Development leaders across Pomerleau to stay aligned with their market realities and support them in producing their annual market intelligence reports;
• Perform ongoing competitive intelligence on the construction industry, including upcoming projects, clients, and competitors;
• Dive deep into the data to synthesize insights, analyze findings, and develop actionable recommendations;
• Translate complex data into clear, user-friendly formats such as charts, tables, and other visual aids.


This role could be for you if you have

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in market research and analysis, along with a post-secondary degree in business, marketing, real estate, finance, accounting, architecture, economics, or a related field;
• Proven experience in developing and executing research methodologies, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to gather large volumes of data and translate them into meaningful insights in a user-friendly format.
• Ability to multitask, manage multiple responsibilities, adapt to shifting priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
• Advanced computer skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as working knowledge of databases and • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French, along with strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
