Reporting to the Director – Project Risk Management, you will be responsible for the full governance of the risk management process on complex and strategic projects. From proposal development through to project execution, you will act as the conductor of risk management activities, leading workshops, coordinating follow-ups, and ensuring the quality of mitigation plans, reports, and submission narratives. In collaboration with the team of analysts, you will also facilitate quantitative analyses (QCRA/QSRA) and play a key role in supporting decision-making for senior management and project teams.
What you will do

• Lead and support the implementation of the project risk management process across assigned projects, encompassing various construction contract delivery models (traditional and collaborative) and all project phases, including pre-construction and construction
• Facilitate multidisciplinary risk identification, assessment, and mitigation workshops.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, opportunity registers, mitigation plans, issue and action tracking logs.
• Support quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses (QCRA/QSRA) and communicate results to project stakeholders.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries to support project governance and decision-making.
• Contribute to project pursuits, proposals, and technical submissions through project-specific risk assessments and risk management narratives.
• Collaborate with project controls, engineering, procurement, estimating, scheduling, and operations teams to proactively manage project risks and opportunities.
• Leverage lessons learned, historical data, and risk libraries to strengthen project assessments and support continuous improvement of risk management methodologies, tools, and best practices.


This role could be for you if you have

• Typically 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in project risk management, project controls, scheduling, estimating, engineering, construction management, project management, or related fields
• University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience in project risk management, project controls, scheduling, estimating, engineering, construction management, project management, or related fields.
• Experience working on complex projects within infrastructure, transportation, industrial, energy, buildings, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of project delivery and project lifecycle management.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging multidisciplinary stakeholders is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of quantitative risk analysis methodologies (QCRA/QSRA) is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with risk management and project controls tools such as ARM (Riskonnect), Safran Risk, Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, @RISK, Power BI, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of ISO 31000, PMI, AACE, and collaborative delivery models such as Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, Alliance, PPP, CMAR, or IPD is considered an asset.
• Passion for leveraging technology, data analytics, automation, and digital solutions to improve project delivery, collaboration, and decision-making.
• Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions, knowledge management systems, or innovative workflows is considered an asset.
