Reporting to the Project Director, the incumbent contributes to defining and managing cost control and scheduling functions, as well as risk management and document control. They play a key role in project integration and are responsible for reporting and accountability to the client.
What you will do

• Ensure overall coordination of project control activities on major industrial projects
• Work closely with functional leadership and internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, management standards, and project objectives
• Define, in collaboration with the Project Director and team, management plans, processes, tools, and methodologies
• Participate in their implementation and continuous improvement
• Validate approaches, methodologies, and strategies proposed by functional leads
• Prepare and present performance reports, strategic analyses, and project reporting
• Support the Project Director in executive presentations, analyses, and strategic discussions

Lead, support, and mobilize a team of professionals, technicians, and administrators responsible for:
• Cost control
• Planning and scheduling
• Risk management
• Change management
• Progress tracking
• Reporting
• Contract administration
• Document control

Ensure delivery of these functions by:
• Maintaining quality, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables
• Monitoring performance indicators and variances
• Proposing and tracking corrective actions
• Ensuring consistency between physical progress, documentation, and financial data
• Supporting team development and continuous improvement

This role could be for you if you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (civil, industrial, mechanical, or other relevant field)
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in industrial construction, including significant experience in project controls
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and project management systems (PMIS)
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and synthesis skills
• Strong judgment and ability to make informed decisions in complex environments
• Versatility and autonomy in managing responsibilities and priorities
• Strong interest in innovation and integration of new technologies in project management practice

• Ability to travel occasionally to project sites as required
