The Site-Based Construction Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all logistical activities in support of construction operations at the Woodfibre site. This role is critical to ensuring efficient material flow, marine transportation, and document control, while supporting safe, timely, and productive project execution. THIS IS A 14/7 ROTATION
What You Will Do


• Logistics & Marine Coordination

Coordinate barge movements for materials, equipment, and personnel
Liaise with marine contractors and site teams on schedules and priorities
Track and communicate all marine logistics activities

• Material Management

Plan and track material deliveries aligned with construction schedules
Manage ordering, expediting, and supplier follow-ups
Maintain accurate inventory and monitor shortages

• Site Logistics Coordination

Support daily logistics planning (laydown areas, access, material handling)
Coordinate with superintendents and subcontractors
Identify and resolve logistical constraints

• Documentation & Reporting

Maintain delivery logs, barge manifests, and inventory records
Track material receipts


This role could be for you if you have

• 5–10 years of experience in construction logistics, preferably on large industrial or marine projects
• Proven experience with:
• Barge and marine logistics coordination
• Material ordering and inventory management
• Site-based document control and tracking systems
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with logistics tracking tools and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with field teams and suppliers
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, site-based environment
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
