Job Description

Ready to build your career? We want to hear from you.
In a context of strong growth, we are currently hiring for several Project Management roles. To support both our current and upcoming needs, we are building a talent pool for opportunities across our various project sites throughout Quebec. Our team will review your profile and align you with assignments that best match your expertise, interests, and location, allowing you to quickly contribute to large-scale projects.

As a Project Manager within Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure division, you will play a strategic role in the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale projects. You will be responsible for overall project performance, including cost, schedule, quality, and compliance.
You will work on a wide variety of projects — ranging from several million to over $1B — across specialties such as earthworks, civil structures, marine works, deep foundations, and formwork.
Depending on your level of experience, you may also take on a leadership role by managing complex projects, mobilizing teams, and contributing to strategic decisions.
What you will do

• Plan, organize, and oversee all project activities
• Ensure full project management (scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risks)
• Develop, monitor, and optimize budgets, forecasts, and performance indicators
• Coordinate project teams (coordinators, engineers, superintendents, etc.)
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, consultants, and subcontractors
• Contribute to bidding strategies, contract negotiations, and project setup
• Identify risks and opportunities and propose optimization strategies
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on job sites
• Ensure work complies with contractual and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and best practices

This role is for you if you have

• A minimum of 7 to 15+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry
• Strong experience in civil infrastructure (earthworks, structures, marine works, deep foundations, formwork, or equivalent)
• A degree in engineering, construction management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven ability to manage large-scale and complex projects
• Strong financial management and performance tracking skills
• A collaborative leadership style and strong influencing skills
• A results-driven and client-focused mindset
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Additional asset

• Mobility to work on projects across the province and outside of Quebec
Benefits
• RRSP with up to 5% employer matching
• Hybrid work model for corporate roles
• Employee stock ownership program
• Career growth through real development opportunities
• Transit pass reimbursement — get to work for free
• Minimum 4 weeks of vacation from day one
