As a Business Development Advisor within Pomerleau's Civil & Infrastructure team, you will play an active role in driving the growth of our operations by identifying, analyzing, and developing strategic opportunities. Working on large-scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion, you will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of the market, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and build lasting relationships with key players across the industry.
What You'll Do

• Participate in market intelligence activities, including monitoring public and private tenders, upcoming projects, and industry trends
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities
• Contribute to pursuit strategy development and go/no-go decision-making
• Support the preparation of presentations, qualification packages, and proposals
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including estimating, operations, and project management
• Participate in industry events and networking activities
• Maintain and update opportunity tracking tools (CRM)

This Role Is for You If You Have

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of the civil engineering and infrastructure sector and its markets
• A strong interest in business development within the construction industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to synthesize information effectively
• Demonstrated autonomy, attention to detail, and initiative
• A client-focused mindset, with active listening skills, curiosity, and a genuine interest in building long-term relationships
