Under the supervision of the Head of Internal Communications, the Communications Coordinator plays a key role in managing and executing the essential tasks required for the team’s smooth operations. The incumbent works closely with members of the communications team to contribute to excellence in communications and to the engagement of Pomerleau employees
What you will do


Internal Initiatives Coordination:
• Coordinate the execution of employee engagement initiatives, including the distribution of recognition awards, the design of trophies, drafting communications, collecting photos, and more.
• Work closely with various internal clients on different projects in collaboration with other members of the communications team.

Event Support:
• Support the organization of events led by the communications team, including logistics, registrations, bookings, promotional materials, on-site setup, as well as invoicing and budget tracking.

Special Projects, Writing, and Other Tasks:
• Independently manage a variety of projects, including collaboration with the graphic studio and different team experts.
• Support team members in creating communication plans, drafting, translating, and publishing various types of content (event communications, intranet articles, emails, posters, visuals, etc.).
• Assist in managing calendars and coordinating efforts between internal and external teams as needed.
• Prepare meeting minutes, post mortems, and perform any related tasks.



This role could be for you if you have

• A technical diploma (DEC) or a university degree in communications, administration, or marketing.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Experience and ease in coordinating multiple files/projects simultaneously.

• Good knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, Wrike, and Canva is considered an asset.
