Reporting to the Director of the Centre of Excellence, the incumbent acts as a subject matter expert in investigations, audits, and crisis management. The individual supports operational teams during major incidents, coordinates critical interventions, and actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the management system, particularly in occupational health and safety.
What you will do

Operations Support

• Support operational teams during major incidents (SIF) by ensuring a structured and effective response
• Advise and influence stakeholders in the management of complex situations
• Coordinate actions between the various teams involved

Audits

• Plan, conduct, and document internal audits
• Support external audits by ensuring compliance with requirements

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the management system

Incident Investigations

• Support project teams in conducting accident investigations, particularly high-potential severity incidents (SIF)
• Analyze root causes and recommend sustainable corrective actions
• Ensure follow-up and implementation of corrective measures within the H&S management system

Crisis Management and Emergency Measures

• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the crisis management process
• Coordinate response efforts during serious incidents or critical situations
• Contribute to organizational preparedness (emergency plans, simulations, continuous improvement of practices)


This role could be for you if you have

• A Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in a relevant field
• Relevant experience in investigations, audits, and/or crisis management in the construction industry or a related field
• Knowledge of management systems (ideally in Health & Safety)
• Experience in the construction industry
• Proven ability to work closely with operational teams

• Willingness to travel across Québec and occasionally throughout Canada
