The Expediting Team Lead leads strategic and high-impact expediting files that are critical to industrial project schedules. They act as a functional reference for supplier expediting and support decision-making to secure major deliveries.
What you will do

• Lead critical and high-risk expediting files
• Provide support on major technical, quality, and logistical issues
• Support strategic decision-making in collaboration with Procurement and Project teams
• Contribute to the development of corporate processes, tools, and practices

Supplier Performance Monitoring
• Assess the overall performance of critical suppliers
• Recommend corrective actions, escalations, or contractual adjustments

Communication and Coordination
• Act as a key contact for strategic suppliers
• Support coordination between project teams, procurement, and corporate stakeholders

Problem Solving
• Lead the resolution of critical issues
• Structure decision-making scenarios and support arbitration

Documentation and Reporting
• Define the required level of visibility for critical files.
• Secure and authorize releases for major deliveries.

Process Improvement
• Structure and improve expediting practices, tools, and standards.
• Contribute to the overall governance of supplier follow-up practices.

This role could be for you if you have

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a similar role
• Experience managing supplier relationships and ensuring on-time deliveries
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles
• Knowledge of industrial equipment manufacturers (asset)
• International market experience (asset)
• Strong ability to enforce deadlines across supply chain stakeholders
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Ability to travel occasionally to project sites as required
